About Us
Motla Projects (PTY) LTD is a multi-discipline construction company situated in Gauteng South Africa which was established on the 25th of July 2000 as a Close Corporation and recently converted to a Private Company in 2023.
Motla Project is 100% wholly black and Woman owned and is registered as Grade 8CEPE, 6GBPE, 5MEPE and 1EPPE with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). We are also registered with other Statutory Bodies such as National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) and The Bargaining Council for the Civil Engineering Industry (BCCEI). The company is Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor, and continuously promotes continuing professional development amongst staff in relevant knowledge areas, for enhancement of service levels and to facilitate growth.

Over the years, Motla Projects has been involved in numerous projects, but our main speciality is water & sewer pipeline, civil structures, roads and earthworks and general building.
Motla Projects is highly known for our project management efficiency, high quality of work, completing projects timeously and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
We are highly equipped on the latest technologies used to enhance efficiency when executing our projects and we have highly experienced and qualified personnel. We strive to ensure the highest level of quality is achieved across all our operations. The aim of quality management is to ensure that the highest levels of quality are consistently attained on all projects by using the best and latest construction practices within the core activities of Motla Projects.
Health and Safety
At Motla Projects, we follow the culture of “Safety First”. The driving force to our exceptional record of delivering our projects safely is our Managing Director, Mrs Patricia Motla.
Our Managing Director has vast experience in Occupational Health and Safety with over 15 years’ experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner before establishing Motla Projects in year 2000. Construction is inherently a high-risk activity and we recognise that we have a moral and legal obligation to safeguard and protect the wellbeing of all people present on our construction sites and at our premises.
We always strive to deliver our projects with zero harm to our workers, project stakeholders and visitors, free of accidents and with minimal incidents. We apply best practice when implementing our safety policies and procedures and our safety management system.
Meet Mrs. Patricia Motla
Patricia Motla is the brains and pioneer behind the force that is Motla Projects. She established the business in the year 2000 and built it brick by brick and propelled it to the construction company that it is today. She joined the engineering and construction industry after spending over 25 years in the medical field working as an occupational health and safety practitioner in several companies and saw an opportunity and wide gap in the market for female contractors. Patricia has persevered her way into the industry and Motla Projects has achieved numerous accolades and awards such as the Empowerment and recognition of women in construction from the CIDB, Gender mainstreaming award from the PWC, and Woman in Construction of the year from ABSA.
Motla Projects is the home to over 30 permanent employees, providing opportunities to the youth, facilitating training, empowerment and mentorship programmes. Patricia is passionate about uplifting the youth and serving the community through her business. she established the Motla Foundation in 2023 which aims to serve young and upcoming engineers, contractors and the youth that have an interest in construction. Motla Projects is the future and Patricia Motla is the pilot catapulting it to the next level.
